What is process service?
Process service is the delivery of legal documents to the person named in a case so they have formal notice. After service, we prepare proof of service for the court.
How fast can you serve papers?
Rush service is typically prioritized for same-day or next-day attempts when the schedule allows. Routine local service is usually completed within a few business days depending on location and availability.
Do you serve outside Bozeman?
Yes. We serve Bozeman, Belgrade, Livingston, Manhattan, Three Forks, Big Sky, Gallatin County, and surrounding Montana communities.
Can you handle out-of-state papers?
Yes. We handle papers issued from outside Montana and serve them locally according to Montana requirements, with affidavits formatted for the issuing court when possible.
What happens after service is complete?
We prepare a signed affidavit of service documenting when, where, and how the papers were served. That affidavit is used as proof of service.
What if someone is avoiding service?
We use due diligence, local knowledge, and persistence to locate evasive defendants. Avoidance does not automatically stop the process.
